Data Analysis for Measure of America of the Social Science Research Council

Feb 2022 - Dec 2022

My role

I started with Measure of America in February of 2022 as a Data and Research Intern. After 3 months, I was promoted to Data Analyst. As a Data Analyst, I conducted the data collection and analysis portion of many different projects. Examples include the Portrait of California report update, the national youth disconnection report, and the spotlight on the Los Angeles and New Orleans youth disconnection reports.

Over the summer of 2022, I supervised two undergraduate interns and facilitated the update of Measure of America’s online data tool for Santa Barbara County, Cottage Data 2 Go. Updating Cottage Data 2 Go continued in the fall and winter of 2022 until it’s completion in early 2023.
